We would like to inform you about an important upcoming change affecting the electronic data exchange protocols used within our services.
As part of our ongoing transition to secure, cloud-supported technologies, the FTP protocol will be decommissioned in the FINAL environment on October 13, 2026, at 08:00 AM UTC (10:00 AM CEST).
Over the past several months, we have worked closely with affected customers and successfully migrated their connections to more secure protocols.
However, our latest review shows that some customers are still using FTP connections in the FINAL environment. To minimize any risk of service interruption, we will proactively contact these customers again and support them in migrating to more secure communication protocols before the decommissioning date.

Scope of This Change
This change applies to all electronic data transfers where Siemens: • operates an FTP server, or • connects to a customer's FTP server.
Both inbound and outbound data exchanges are affected.
The following FTP endpoints will be impacted:
FINAL Environment • ftp2.ax4.com • 194.153.114.150 • Port 21
DEMO Environment • ftpdemo2.ax4.com • 194.60.78.110 • Port 21
